This is the trials weekend and also the final development weekends for women floorball players. If you want to trial for the women’s national team, you must turn up for the trials.

Players are strongly encouraged to attend the trial weekend. However, if you are unable to attend but would still like to be considered for selection to the New Zealand Women’s National Team, please email National Teams Manager Anna Kibblewhite and Head Coach Jon To. They will provide further guidance on the process and information required for selection consideration.

Eligibility
Players may be eligible to attend if they meet one of the following criteria:

• A parent or grandparent was born in New Zealand, or

• Long-term residency in New Zealand (minimum of five years)

Players must be 17 years or older as at 1 January 2026.
A New Zealand passport is not required to participate.

Costs

• Licensed players: $55 per weekend (or $30 per day)

• Unlicensed players: $80 per weekend (or $45 per day)

Payment must be made prior to attending. Players travelling from outside the Greater Wellington region may apply to have fees waived to help subsidise travel costs.
