Whether you're a first-timer or returning player, there's a place for you on the court. Played indoors with lightweight sticks and a perforated plastic ball, floorball is a safe and accessible team sport that promotes fitness, teamwork, and community.

All players, coaches, and officials must adhere to:
The Official Rules of the Game (IFF)
Floorball NZ's Code of Conduct
Youth and social league modifications
Anti-doping, anti-bullying, and safe play policies
Breaches may result in sanctions or suspension from competitions.

Stick: Lightweight, carbon or composite (max 114 cm)
Ball: Plastic, 72 mm diameter, 26 holes (standardised globally)
Attire: Shorts, tee-shirts or sports top, non-marking indoor shoes
Optional: Shin guards, eyewear (recommended for youth)
Most club have their own sets of goalie gear for players keen to explore this position.
