Starting a local club

Floorball is for everyone — all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds.

Whether you want to get kids active, introduce a new sport for adults, or create a space for people to connect through friendly competition, floorball makes it possible.

Starting a club is easier than you might think.

All it takes is floorball equipment, a regular space to play in, and a group of people ready to play. We are here to guide you with practical resources, advice, and support.

By starting a club, you’ll be able to:

  • Register as an official Provisional Club Member of FNZ (first two years)

  • Access FNZ resources and guidance on setup, governance, and promotion

  • Apply for loan equipment such as sticks, goals, and balls

  • Enter FNZ-sanctioned tournaments and leagues

  • Join a nationwide network shaping the future of floorball in Aotearoa
