We are excited to open registrations for a series of Men’s U19 development weekends, designed to support player development and identify talent ahead of the Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships qualification campaign taking place later this year.

The qualification campaign will determine New Zealand’s spot for our Men’s U19 team for the Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships to be played in May 2027.

These weekends are open to male players born between 1 January 2008 and 30 April 2012, whether they are aiming to trial for the national team or simply want to develop their skills in a high-quality training environment.

OBJECTIVES

  • Technical skill development

  • Game awareness and decision-making

  • Team play and communication

  • Preparing players for higher levels of competition

Even for players who are not yet ready to trial for the national team, these weekends provide a valuable opportunity to train under experienced coaches, connect with other motivated players from around the country, and grow their confidence on court.

For players targeting national selection, these sessions form a key pathway toward the final trial weekend later this year, where the initial squad for the Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships qualification campaign will be selected.

ELIGIBILITY

Players must:

  • Be born between 1 January 2008 and 30 April 2012

  • Be eligible to represent New Zealand through citizenship, parentage, or long-term residency (minimum five years)

  • Note: A New Zealand passport is not required to represent New Zealand

FLEXIBLE ATTENDANCE

We understand that families have busy schedules. Players may attend the full weekend or select individual days that work best for them.
