Joe Henshaw appointed Men’s U19 Team Manager

Floorball New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Henshaw as Team Manager of the Men’s U19 National Team, as the programme builds toward the Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships qualification campaign later this year.

Joe brings strong organisational and leadership experience to the role, having previously served as a member of an executive committee and currently coaching youth players with Wellington Storm. His background gives him a solid understanding of both the administrative and developmental aspects of high-performance sport.

As Team Manager, Joe will play a key role in supporting the coaching staff and the players, ensuring the programme runs smoothly both on and off the court. He will oversee team logistics, communications, and operational planning throughout the development weekends, trials, and qualification campaign.

Joe is looking forward to supporting Head Coach Ken Takizawa and the wider coaching team from day one, helping create a well-organised, positive environment that allows players to focus on their development and performance.

With Joe managing team operations and Ken leading the on-court programme, the Men’s U19 campaign is well positioned as it prepares for qualification this year and the Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships in 2027.
