Women’s U19 Team Management Confirmed for 2026 Campaign

Floorball New Zealand is delighted to announce the appointment of Catherine Lee as Team Manager for the Women’s U19 National Team, leading into the Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships AOFC Qualifications in Perth, January 2026.

Catherine brings a wealth of experience and passion to the role. Having managed two women’s national teams previously, she is no stranger to the demands of international competition.

She was Team Manager for the Women’s U19 National Team at the 2022 Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships in Poland and served as Assistant Manager for the Women’s National Team during the 2023 AOFC Qualifications in Thailand.

Her experience behind the scenes gives her a deep understanding of the preparation and dedication required at this level.

Catherine approaches the role with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a meticulous eye for detail, all of which are qualities that will ensure the team is well supported on and off the court.

Joining her as Assistant Team Manager is Sian Macfadyen, who will support Catherine and continue developing her management experience.

Sian was Assistant Manager for the Men’s U19 National Team when they played in the AOFC Qualifications in Wellington in 2022 and brings her background in nursing, adding valuable care and organisational strength to the team environment.

Together, Catherine and Sian will form the administrative backbone of the Women’s U19 national team as they prepare for their international campaign in Perth in 2026.

Their combined experience, energy, and commitment will be key in helping our young athletes perform at their best and continue to thrive in sport.
